Nice staff

Walking into the building, the smell of a bathroom assaults your nostrils. It was because of this we decided to sit outside on the patio. The chairs were full of spider webs and the ground is uneven making the seating uncomfortable. I ordered a grilled chicken Caesar salad, which was a bowl of dressing and soggy lettuce. 1 out of 5 would definitely say to avoid this restaurant.The view of the water was nice though.

service was great and being able to sit outside and enjoy the water views was so good. I enjoy being able to relax and enjoy a meal. Just wish the prices were lower or get more for the money. I ordered a dozen clams but they were so small and not filling. If they were the larger clams then the price was good but the little ones I could eat three dozen.

First time ! Beautiful setting on the St. Lawrence and just as nice on the inside. The kids had the chicken fingers that I have never seen the likes of the size that they brought out! My sister couldn't even finish her salad. Great time!

VERY DISAPPOINTING! During a recent visit several of us ordered the king cut prime rib. The portion size more resembled a petite cut instead. Two of us ordered it rare and they all came out medium well. Our friends son asked for bleu cheese with his salad and they gave him tartar sauce. My fiancees sour cream for her baked potato turned out to actually be bleu cheese, and my thousand island was mayonnaise with a tinge of ketchup. All of our baked potatoes were barely even warm. The service was "OK" but the food was not worth it at all. I would not recommend this restaurant nor would I return.

Great place along the river. Very casual, this visit we enjoyed a cold beer and some hot wings. Jen and the staff are always there to greet you and to make sure that you enjoy your visit

Katie was just wonderful. This little hidden jem is a quaint Irish pub. The little neck clams had s wonderful garlic butter sauce. The artichoke frenchies were soooo good. Hope to return soon and often.

We waited 30 minutes for 2 appetizers when the place wasn't even busy. I saw the waiter go back in the kitchen and it looked like he was helping the cook. The food was definitely not worth the wait. We probably won't go back

Ordered a corn beef sandwich and got a ham sandwich. Chicken teriyaki sandwich was just a burnt piece of chicken on a soggy bun. Ruebens we're good and wings were good. Sat around waiting for our check for about 30 mins. Will never return

I always find myself wanting this to be a good meal spot, but it’s just not good. Nice outdoor seating on the river. Nice bartenders. Has potential, but just doesn’t cut it in the food category.

This place used to be a decent place to eat until the last few years it has been not taken care of and the owner has no desire to take care of it only likes to use the bar. My girlfriend has worked there and she has to bring in her own cleaning supplies to make the place presentable not to mention the fruit flies that have to be strained from the liquor bottles daily. On top of that it has been brought to my attention that the young cook in charge now had to remove maggots from food left on the line as well as the dishwasher being ran for a considerable amount of time with no detergent added the place used to be very good and it has went down hill year after year. I'm surprised the health department has not shut them down and I would highly recommend not eating or drinking there for the sake of not getting sick. It's unfortunate because I used to like to eat here very regularly.

Great little waterfront bar with inexpensive drinks. Bartenders were friendly and attentive. Did not get a chance to try the food, but the rest of my party liked it.

Service was extremely slow. Took over an hour to receive our meals (sandwiches and fries). Some food was ok; some was not do good.

On the water but really short staffed. Bartender did not know how to make a bloody mary!

I have been going here for over 10 years. After a few year hiatus I decided to go back. This place seems pretty run down. It's quite sad. Tables were sticky. You could see back towards the waitress station and it was disgusting. Makes me wonder what the kitchen is like. Other than that, the service was decent although out waitress seemed less than enthused to be working. Despite my worry, the food was better than expected. I had a chicken quesadilla. Someone else had a Reuben and they liked it. I will definitely go back here again. There are far better places to go.

This is a good local place ideally situated on the water with awesome views. It is however indeed of desperate updating, maintenance and repair. The food is good and the staff is great. Good dining or drinking experience if you can look past it's aging and worn out facade

Always love stopping at the captain's when in town. Great people who work there and best place to meet the locals and find other places to visit
